Kakushi toride no san akunin (The last princess)

Synopsis:

In 1958 Akira Kurosawa directed The Hidden Fortress, a great adventure where a dethroned princess, a general and two peasants had to find a way to cross enemy lines with a shipment of gold. In 1977, strongly influenced by this film, George Lucas shot Star Wars. Now, on the 50^th anniversary of the first, the magician of FX, Shinji Higuchi, lets “the force” be with him and readapts Kurosawa’s movie introducing entertaining nods at Lucas’ work. A truly unbiased, in crescendo show full of young faces, where Darth Vader is, of course, a samurai.
